CHLOE SHELTON, WRITER, DIRECTOR and DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY of Dandelion

In 2018, as a 17 year old high school senior, I teamed up with a fellow Grandin Theatre Film Lab student to produce a short film based around a bike. We co-wrote this screenplay, co-directed and I acted as Director of Photography. He acted as Boom Op and co-editor and wrote the original score. All of this in about two weeks' time. It went on to sweep the Bike Festival it was made for and then was honored to receive many other recognitions including Best Short Form Fiction in the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (EMMYs) and went on to compete nationally as well!

I am proud of this little film that tells the story of a young boy as he comes to realize the importance of supporting his friends.
