DREAMING ABOUT YOU

CHLOE SHELTON, WRITER AND DIRECTOR AND EDITOR of Dreaming About You for SULLIVAN SMITH AND THE STRAY LIONS

This project was my first foray into the world of music videos! I was honored and excited to be asked by Sullivan Smith of Sullivan Smith and the Stray Lions to collaborate with him on a music video for the new, original song, “Dreaming About You.” Sullivan had some fun ideas to incorporate into telling the story of his song. After meeting with Sullivan and discussing his fun concepts, he allowed me to write the treatment and conceptualize the general look and design. I chose the color palette, the general look and vibe as well as the costumes and the talented Production Designer, Jenna Gianinni, helped me pull it all together! Director of Photography, Zane Farmer, managed to plan and execute shots that were even dreamier than I had imagined! I hope you enjoy this fun, campy look into a young man’s dream of the girl of his dreams!
